It's a boy!

For those of you who don't know yet, we are expecting a baby boy in January! I am 17 weeks along and super happy to be done with my first trimester! It was the worst one I've had by far. Jess and the kids have been super patient with me and my lack of desire to cook and clean. Kaden and Ellie are so excited to have a baby brother. They are already fighting over who gets to get the diapers and wipes to change his diaper.

I had Kaden take these pics for me. He did pretty good!

People constantly remind me about how large I get. For those of you who have never seen me pregnant, watch out!

I found these pictures on my camera. Boys will be boys! Can't wait to add another one to the pack!

Horton Summer party

We went to my parents' this weekend for my brother's homecoming. My mom rented one of those big inflatable water slides. The adults had more fun on it than the kids! Kaden was afraid of the water that sprayed his face at the top so he only went down a couple times. Ellie wasn't very impressed either. Jess was crazy enough to try a flip from the top. Tons of fun.

I don't know why Jeff went face first, the water was FREEZING!

Ellie didn't like how cold the water was so she spent most of the time on the swing wrapped in her blanket.

Jim won the prize for the highest bounces!

Yea Casey!

Jess would always make a tidal wave of water at the end. Many children got soaked standing there!

My parents were a little more conservative when they went down. I don't blame them! We all had battle wounds and were a little sore the next day! Way fun though! There aren't any pics of me going down... Jess said kept saying something about "not very graceful" when I would go! Hahahahaha!

Welcome home Elder Jeff!

My brother came home from his mission in Tampico Mexico on Monday night! We are so glad he's home! Two years is a long time! He looks great! He's a little skinnier, tanner and taller. Poor guy had to hang out with us crazies all week. I'm sure it was a rude awakening. Welcome home Jeff!

He worked super hard and had a great mission. I don't think he wanted to leave!

Mom got the first hug, of course.

To celebrate we had a fiesta back at home. All of the kids wore sombreros and played with maracas.

Can't have a fiesta without pinata!

Jeff likes Red Robin we so went there for lunch one day. He says American food tastes bland!

Yesterday we went to Bear Lake. It was nice and warm and the kids loved to play in the water.

Actually, Ellie liked the sand better!

All four of us swam out into the lake until we could barely touch, but it was too cold so we came back. It was tons of fun to spend time with my family!

I love jazz music

I love jazz music. Jesse hates it with a passion. He thinks Louis Armstrong's voice is a joke. He has no taste for the classics! So since it's my blog I put my music on it! Does anyone else out there like jazz or am I old fashioned?

We love to see the temple

We took the kids to the temple last week for FHE. We walked through the grounds and went to the visitors center. They have a smaller replica of the Christus in Salt Lake and they let you touch this one. It was neat to watch the kids. Then we went to the Joseph Smith movie. I love that movie and yes, I cried.
